The practical details
Good to know
before you move in.
Do I buy my domain from Carrd?
Purchase your domain separately from a registrar, then connect it to Carrd. You keep managing registration and renewals with your domain provider.
Which plan includes custom domains?
Custom domain publishing is included with Pro Standard and Pro Plus. It is not included with Basic or Pro Lite.
Can I use a subdomain?
Yes. You can publish to a subdomain you control, such as hello.yourname.com. Follow the DNS instructions Carrd displays for that address.
How quickly will my domain connect?
After you publish and configure the DNS records, Carrd says domain initialization can take up to an hour. If the domain is still initializing after that, follow Carrd's troubleshooting guide or contact support.
