wondering.
The little things that come up
along the way.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, with Pro Standard or Pro Plus. Register your domain separately, then follow the DNS instructions in Carrd's publishing panel. Pro Lite does not include custom domains.
Connect your domainWhy is my domain still "initializing"?
Domain initialization can take up to an hour. Double-check the DNS records against the exact values in Carrd's publishing panel. If it is still initializing after an hour, follow the official troubleshooting guide or contact Carrd.
Domain troubleshootingWhere are my contact form messages?
By default, messages go to your Carrd account email. Check the form's recipient settings and your spam folder. Form emails come from @mail.carrd.site; allowlisting that domain at your email provider can help.
Form troubleshootingCan my site have more than one page?
Carrd is built for one-page sites, but sections can act like separate pages. Add a Section Break control and link to its name, such as #about. Visitors can move between sections without leaving the site.
Build with sectionsWill mobile edits change my desktop site?
Ordinary content and appearance changes can affect both views, even while you are in Mobile View. To make mobile-only adjustments, open an element's Appearance panel and change its Mobile setting from Auto to Manual.
Fine-tune your mobile layoutWhich Pro plan do I need?
Pro Lite is $9/year for 3 sites without custom domains. Pro Standard is $19/year for 10 sites, custom domains, and basic forms. Pro Plus is $49/year for 25 sites and includes advanced forms.
Compare the plansDoes Carrd include SSL for my domain?
Yes. Once your custom domain is correctly connected and initialized, Carrd automatically sets up SSL. If you see a "Not Secure" warning, check the official SSL guide and domain troubleshooting steps.
